Dinner and Divas was created in 2004, as a dinner theatre experience. The production is composed of an all female cast anchored by the founder Demetria Dotson aka "Ms. Dee-Lite". Dinner and Divas fuses the art of spoken word poetry, soulful vocals and feel good choreography into the fabric of her stories.
Audiences enjoy a very high level of entertainment while being served an elegant three course meal. In addition the event will also honor women activists, celebrities and advocates who have displayed momentous involvement to the sickle cell community. Proceeds from the event benefit the Sickle Cell Foundation of Tennessee
